Heya! You're here to learn how to use textures in Paint.NET, right? right! Alright, lets begin!

1. Open up Paint.NET and paste, then crop your image. I will be using this image:

Now your canvas should look like this:

2. Now select the texture you want to use. I'll be using this one from Swimchick.net.

Now go to Edit>>Paste In To New Layer. Now it will ask you if you want to exand the canvas or not. Select any one you want ;P Press F4 and select "Overlay"

3. Now select Image>>flatten and it will flatten it. Add credit and you're done! Heres how mine turned out:
