So you’ve got a site and you need hits?? Let me share some wisdom with you.
Ok, first, have you got any affiliates? If you haven’t where have you been all these years? Hiding under a rock? O.o
You have to apply for affiliates. My only tips for this are,

- Make sure you fit the requirements
- Do not use chatspeak in your application
- Read the rules/requirements very clearly
- Do whatever they ask for, otherwise, no affie :(
- If you have no affiliates (or only a few) or you are a smallish site that doesn’t get heaps of daily hits, don’t go and apply for a site like Neo Reality or FGN-Guild, or any other big/popular site. - If you get rejected, don’t get revenge, work on your site and apply again.

Another way to get hits is to apply for advertising on a well-known or bigger site. Some sites offer you the choice of making you a banner. If you aren’t confident enough to make your own banner (of if you think your graphics aren’t good enough), you can get them to make you a banner. It’s ok to ask them to make you a banner, after all lots of people will be seeing this, you don’t want to show that your site has poorly graphics now, do you??
Once again, if they are any rules/requirements read them very carefully and make sure you fit them.

Yet another way to gain hits is to submit your site to search engines. This isn’t one of the better ones as people will most likely have to search or your site’s name for this. It is better for slightly bigger sites. But, it is still a great thing to be part of as it means people can find you if they want to. To submit your site to Google, click here .
